Viator - Galley

The galley area contains fixed cupboards, drawers and wall mounted storage. On entry from the wheelhouse there are two cupboards, one above and one below the worktop. There is a Belling split gas oven / grill which was fitted new in 2021. Above is a five burner Neff gas hob with tiled splash back and fire blanket above. The tiles continue in a single row all around the port side of the galley. Gas is supplied by two 13kg propane tanks situated in a sealed vented gas locker on the front deck.

There is a Hinari microwave oven with cable routing to the cupboard above. This cupboard has two shelves and also provides access to the mains consumer unit. Below is a single door corner cupboard with two shelves. This cupboard contains shut off valves for the oven and hob. Next to the cupboard are a set of three drawers with 'soft close' runners. Above the drawers are two mains power points and the gas test point. There is a sliding window on this side (handy for emptying your teapot!) with fitted curtains. All curtains throughout the boat are included with the sale.

There is a corner sink and drainer with a hot / cold mixer tap. The sink is plumbed directly through the hull immediately below the sink. There is a cupboard below with two shelves which allows access to the plumbing and water supply. There are two open selves above the sink. To the right of the sink is another cupboard with soft close cutlery drawer above.

All the worktops are slate grey Formica with oak trims and the galley furniture has been finished in a hard wearing matt grey paint. Silver drawer pulls / handles (fitted 2019) complete the area. The galley floor is covered with uPVC floor tiles for easy cleaning.

The starboard side of the galley contains cutained off and open shelving to each side of the supplied Shoreline 12v fridge. There is a fire extinguisher by the steps down along with the 12v isolator switch for the fridge. There is a double mains socket above the fridge and a vent for the fridge.

We have installed a radiator at the bottom of the forward shelf unit to balance the heating system with the diesel stove. This can be isolated if required, although we have never found the need to. There is a large sliding skylight above the galley which provides ample light during the day and can be opened completely in the summer time to provide plenty of fresh air. Inside and below the skylight there is a net shade which is useful on very hot days, and also to provide privacy and shade when guests are staying on the sofa bed in the lounge.
